Well I was encouraged to start this blog thing and express my OWN opinion so folks can get a feel for me, DP. Nice to meet you as well.
Well lets get into it, today the thing that has gotten me is the "Worm" Dennis Rodman was inducted into the Hall Of Fame; tattoos and all! This guy was one of the most hardworking cats that I've witnessed in my era. Hated the Bulls but DR brought a dimension that hadn't been seen. His aggressive, colorful yet productive play trumped the Bulls dynasty to where they are today. Best record in NBA history 72-10 (or something like that). Also Ralph Sampson was inducted as well but I didn't pay RS too much attention because of the "Hakeem the Dream".
All-star weekend is here hosted in Los Angeles at Staples Center, with Blake Griffin of the Clippers the talk of the town. This guys jumping ability is unreal and is my pick this year in the Slam Dunk Contest. In the midst of the other festivities I'm rolling with the Sophomores against the Freshman in that respected game.(1st yr vs 2 yr players) And of course West against the East in Sunday's game.
Also with CIF amongst us I want to shout out Rialto High School (CA) Girls Basketball Team. Get em'
